📚 Scripture. 💪
(Revelation 1:17) "When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, 'Fear not, I am the first and the last.'"
Observation: In Revelation 1, John encounters the glorified Christ, whose presence is awe-inspiring and overwhelming. John's immediate reaction is to fall at Jesus' feet in reverence and fear. However, Jesus responds with comfort, reminding John of His eternal nature and authority over life and death.
Application: This passage reminds us that while Jesus is majestic and powerful, He is compassionate and reassuring. In moments of fear or uncertainty, we can find solace in knowing that Jesus is both sovereign and intimately present in our lives.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, in Your majesty, You are beyond our comprehension, yet You reach out to us with love and assurance. Help us to live in reverent awe of You, trusting in Your eternal presence and finding peace in Your words. Amen.
