Hello friends. Happy Saturday!
As March draws to a close, our focus naturally turns toward the story that makes Easter necessary. Genesis 3 shows us the moment sin entered God’s good creation. Yet even in the midst of rebellion, God speaks words of grace and promise. This chapter sets the stage for the redemption that Christ would one day accomplish.

📚 Scripture. 💪

Genesis 3:9 (NLT)
“Then the Lord God called to the man, ‘Where are you?’"

Observation: The serpent tempts humanity to doubt God’s goodness and Word. Adam and Eve chose autonomy over obedience, bringing sin into the world. Shame and fear immediately follow their disobedience. God seeks them out rather than abandoning them. Consequences are given, but they are mixed with mercy. God promises that evil will not have the final word.

Application: I will respond to sin and shame by running toward God instead of hiding from Him.

Prayer: Thank You, Jesus, for stepping into the brokenness that began in the garden. Help me trust Your grace when I am tempted to hide in fear or guilt.

✍️ Quote of the Week That Makes You Think

God’s way is perfect and his Word is flawless. A perfect God could have nothing less than perfect communication with his people. It is we who read hastily, skip prayer, and fail to meditate on his Word, who find it confusing. — Tim Keller

🤪 Meme of the week

Genesis 3 reminds us that the Bible is honest about human failure. But it is also clear that God’s grace arrives immediately. Even when things fall apart, God is already working toward redemption. As we move toward Easter, hold onto the hope that God never stopped pursuing His people.
