5 Things- Learning While Leading:

On this page
Introduction

A long obedience in the same direction.

Hello leaders.
Here is this week's round-up of the things I have been learning as I try to follow Jesus while helping others do the same.

ONE Thing I'm Learning While Following Jesus from the Leadership Chair.

The goal of life is not what we achieve. It is who we become along the way. It has taken me a long time to realize God doesn't need me. He is the Sovereign Ruler over all things. He needs nothing. He has chosen to partner with me and you. We have the honor of being His hands and feet in our world. At the same time, if He wants something done, He is not limited by what I am or am not able to do. This doesn't make me less willing, just more thankful. It is an honor to serve the Lord, and it is all because of His grace.

ONE Scripture I'm Processing.

(Psalm 33:18) "But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.

Question: Do I realize that the Lord always has His eyes on us? He never loses us. He is always near.

ONE Thing to Try This Week.

Try this: Ask someone you lead one good question and just listen. When leading others, we can become so focused on getting to the next thing that we forget to be present in the moment. Give someone room to talk this week without trying to help. Just listen.

ONE Thing Worth Your Time.

ONE Question/Thought For our Spiritual Formation

Offer a little more grace. Everyone has a private battle we know nothing about.

Keep learning. Keep leading. Keep following Jesus.
