Hello friends. Happy Saturday!
Life looks different in different seasons, and Scripture acknowledges that reality. In 1 Corinthians 7, Paul speaks honestly about singleness, marriage, and faithfulness. Rather than ranking one season over another, he points believers toward devotion to God. Today’s devotion reminds us that faithfulness matters more than circumstances.

📚 Scripture. 💪

(1 Corinthians 7:17) Each of you should continue to live in whatever situation the Lord has placed you, and remain as you were when God first called you. This is my rule for all the churches.

Observation: God works powerfully in ordinary seasons of life. Contentment grows when we trust God’s placement. Faithfulness does not require ideal circumstances. Comparison often distracts us from our calling. God uses obedience right where we are.

Application: I will focus on honoring God faithfully in my current season instead of longing for a different one.

Prayer: Thank You, Jesus, for meeting me where I am and not where I think I should be. Help me live with contentment and devotion right now.

📚 Book Recommendation. Found: God's Will (John MacArthur)
Found: God’s Will by John MacArthur is a clear, Scripture-driven guide that cuts through confusion about discovering God’s will. Rather than focusing on hidden signs or personal feelings, MacArthur argues that God’s will is revealed plainly through obedience to His Word. The book emphasizes spiritual priorities such as holiness, wisdom, prayer, and faithfulness over trying to decode specific life decisions. Its strength lies in re-centering believers on responsibility and trust rather than anxiety about choosing “perfect” outcomes. Short, direct, and pastoral in tone, it is invaluable for Christians feeling paralyzed by decision-making. This book is recommended for believers who want clarity, freedom, and confidence in following God without overcomplicating discernment.

🤪 Meme of the week

Love is not an optional trait for Christians—it is essential. God calls us to reflect His love in everyday relationships. When love leads, our actions gain eternal meaning. May our lives point others to the love of Christ.
