Hello friends. Happy Saturday!
By late March, many of us are evaluating how the year is really going. Philippians 3 challenges us to examine what we are truly living for. Paul boldly redefines success, trading personal achievement for knowing Christ. This chapter calls us to let go of the past and press forward with holy determination.

📚 Scripture. 💪

Philippians 3:14 (NLT)
press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us."

Observation: Paul warns against placing confidence in religious performance or status. He lists his own impressive credentials only to declare them worthless compared to knowing Christ. True righteousness comes through faith, not personal effort. Paul’s desire is to know Christ fully, including sharing in His sufferings. He admits that he has not arrived spiritually but continues to press on. The Christian life is described as a forward-focused pursuit, not a backward-looking one.

Application: I will intentionally release anything that keeps me from pursuing Christ with my whole heart.

Prayer: Thank You, Jesus, for offering a righteousness that I could never earn on my own. Help me press forward in faith, leaving behind anything that distracts me from knowing You more deeply.

📚 Book Recommendation. Everyone Loves a Non-Anxious Presence (Jack Shitama)
This book beautifully explains why emotional and spiritual calm is one of the most powerful leadership qualities a person can cultivate. Shitama blends biblical wisdom with practical insight, making the concept of a non-anxious presence both compelling and attainable. The tone is encouraging rather than condemning, especially for leaders under pressure. It’s a timely reminder that who we are matters more than what we do.

Philippians 3 reminds us that spiritual maturity is not perfection but perseverance. God is not asking us to have it all together—He is calling us to keep moving forward. The past does not define your future when Christ is leading the way. Take one faithful step today and trust God with the rest.
