Hello friends. Happy Saturday!
March often feels like a season of waiting, caught between winter and the promise of spring. Zechariah 10 speaks directly to people who are tired, scattered, and longing for renewal. God reminds His people that He has not abandoned them, even when they feel disoriented or weak. This chapter invites us to trust the Lord as the One who restores strength and leads us forward.

📚 Scripture. 💪

Zechariah 10:1,3,6,8,12 (NLT)
“Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime… He will send showers... My anger burns against your shepherds… for the Lord of Heaven’s Armies has arrived to look after Judah... I will strengthen the people of Judah and save the people of Israel... When I whistle to them, they will come running... I will make them strong in the Lord.”

Observation: God confronts the false shepherds and idols that have led His people astray. He promises to personally care for His flock, strengthening Judah and saving the house of Joseph. The Lord describes Himself as the One who answers prayer and provides rain in its season. He acknowledges the scattering of His people but promises to whistle for them and gather them again. Strength comes not from human leaders or military power but from the Lord Himself. God’s restoration is not vague or symbolic. It is active, personal, and rooted in His covenant faithfulness.

Application: I will stop placing my trust in weak substitutes and intentionally look to the Lord as my true source of strength and guidance.

Prayer: Thank You, Jesus, for being the Shepherd who sees me even when I feel scattered and worn down. Help me trust Your leadership and strength more than my own understanding or effort.

I have sometimes seen more in a line of the Bible than I could well tell how to stand under, and yet at another time the whole Bible hath been to me as dry as a stick. — John Bunyan

🤪 Meme of the week

Zechariah reminds us that God does not shame His people for being weary—He restores them. If you feel scattered or thin right now, you are exactly the kind of person God promises to gather. The Lord knows how to strengthen hearts that feel tired and overlooked. As you move through this week, trust that God is actively at work, even if you can’t yet see the full picture.
