Hello friends. Happy Saturday!
Welcome to the heart of summer and the July 12th edition of the Bible Breakdown Newsletter! July is often a time of fireworks, vacations, and long evenings, but it’s also when many of us quietly battle burnout, spiritual drift, or just plain exhaustion. This month’s SOAP devotional from Revelation 12 is so encouraging. In the middle of heavenly conflict and earthly chaos, we are reminded that God is still fighting for His people, and He always wins.
Revelation 12 paints a vivid picture of a woman, a child, and a dragon. It’s symbolic and sometimes strange, but behind it all is a truth we can cling to: God protects and prevails even when Satan accuses and attacks. Remember that the enemy may rage, but God has already written the final word when you feel the heat of July’s pressure—whether from culture, personal burdens, or spiritual discouragement. This issue of the newsletter is filled with tools, truths, and even a little laughter to encourage your soul.
Let’s continue digging into the Word together—and trusting the One who holds the victory.

📚 Scripture. 💪
(Revelation 12:11) And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die."
Observation: In the spiritual war described in Revelation 12, the people of God overcome the enemy not by force, but through the power of Jesus' blood and the boldness of their testimony. Their victory comes through sacrifice, not self-preservation. It's a reminder that the Christian life is about surrender, courage, and confidence in Christ's finished work.
Application: When the enemy whispers lies or when life feels like a battlefield, we remember what wins the war: Jesus’ blood and our unwavering witness. We don’t have to fear loss when Christ has already secured our eternal gain. Today, share your story boldly. Trust that your testimony matters more than your comfort.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for the victory that comes through Your sacrifice. Help me live with courage, not clinging to comfort but holding tightly to truth. Give me strength to stand firm and speak boldly. Amen.
