Hello friends. Happy Saturday!
Freedom is a word we hear often, but Scripture defines it differently than our culture. In Galatians 5, Paul reminds believers that freedom in Christ is not self-indulgence but Spirit-led living. As winter begins to give way to hints of spring, this chapter calls us to examine what is truly shaping our lives. God invites us to walk in freedom that produces lasting fruit.

📚 Scripture. 💪
Galatians 5:1 (NLT)
“So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free…”
Galatians 5:22 (NLT)
“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy…”
Observation: Paul opens by declaring that Christ has set believers free and warns against returning to spiritual bondage. He contrasts life under the law with life guided by the Spirit. The chapter clearly describes the works of the flesh, showing where self-rule ultimately leads. In contrast, the fruit of the Spirit reveals the character Christ forms within believers over time. Spiritual growth is not forced but cultivated through daily surrender. Paul emphasizes that those who belong to Christ are called to walk in step with the Spirit.
Application: Choose today to surrender control to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to shape your attitudes and actions.
Prayer: Thank You, Jesus, for freeing me from both sin and self-reliance. Teach me to walk by Your Spirit and produce fruit that reflects Your heart.

📣 Sermon/Testimony. Use QUESTIONS to REVEAL Proof of GOD. (Frank Turek) Frank Turek is a leading Christian apologist who equips believers to defend the faith logically and confidently. This talk emphasizes asking good questions — a key tool in apologetics and evangelism. Turek helps Christians understand that faith is not blind but grounded in reasons and evidence. Learning to ask thoughtful questions strengthens both our faith and conversations with skeptics.
🤔 Apologetics. This Is Why EVERY Christian Should Learn Apologetics. (Ken Ham) This talk sets a foundational reason for every believer to understand apologetics — it strengthens faith and equips us to give a reason for the hope within us. Apologetics isn’t just for specialists — it builds courage, clarity, and love in witnessing. It also protects believers from being shaken by cultural arguments.
🧠 Mental Health. Talking about Trauma won't heal you. In this video, Emma McAdam explains why simply talking about trauma is not enough and shows how to work toward healing. It’s valuable because many people mistakenly believe that sharing memories alone resolves deep emotional pain. The video offers practical tools, such as narrative reframing and visualization, for real progress. The content supports healthier mental habits and increased resilience.
✍️ Deeper Study. Deep Dive Bible Study. This video is a Bible study session where the teacher unpacks Scripture in depth. It’s important because watching someone walk through context, meaning, and application models how to study Scripture thoughtfully. Engaging this way can sharpen a viewer’s own study skills. It encourages asking questions, looking at culture and original intent, not just headlines.
📚 Book Recommendation. All That Is in God. (James E. Dolezal) This theological work defends key doctrines about the nature of God that many believers may take for granted or see challenged today. It thoughtfully explains classic Christian positions in a way that strengthens doctrinal clarity. For Christians wanting a deeper grasp of orthodox theology—not just devotional feelings—this book is rich and substantive. Understanding God’s character deeply impacts worship, prayer, and how believers relate to Scripture and culture.

🤪 Meme of the week

True freedom is not doing whatever we want—it’s becoming who God created us to be. The Spirit’s work in us is often slow but always purposeful. As you move through the week, pay attention to what fruit is growing in your life. God is faithful to finish what He begins.
