(Ezekiel 39:29) “I will no longer hide my face from them, for I will pour out my Spirit on the people of Israel, declares the Sovereign Lord.”
Observation: This verse is the climax of restoration. After judgment and exile, God promises a day when He will no longer turn His face away. Instead, He will pour out His Spirit—a powerful sign of intimacy, transformation, and renewal. This anticipates the work of the Holy Spirit in the New Covenant.
Application: God's desire is not to remain distant but to dwell with us through His Spirit. Even after seasons of discipline, His heart is to restore and renew. Have you welcomed the Spirit’s presence in your life today? He wants to guide, comfort, and empower you.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, thank You for living in me. Pour out Your presence in my heart. Fill me with Your power, Your wisdom, and Your love. Help me walk in step with You every day. Amen.
