Introduction

*This weekly newsletter will share about the Bible Breakdown podcast, things about RLC, and my favorite things from around the web. My prayer is it will help you know God better.

Hello friends. Happy Saturday!
Not every season feels significant, but Exodus 2 reminds us that God is always preparing something. Moses’ early life is filled with uncertainty and hidden development. What seems like waiting is actually preparation. God is at work long before the calling becomes clear.

📚 Scripture. 💪

Exodus 2:23–25 (NLT)
“Years passed, and the king of Egypt died. But the Israelites continued to groan under their burden of slavery. They cried out for help, and their cry rose up to God. 24 God heard their groaning, and he remembered his covenant promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. 25 He looked down on the people of Israel and knew it was time to act."

Observation: Moses’ story begins with God’s protection in a dangerous time. He was raised in Pharaoh’s household but identifies with his people. His attempt to act fails, leading to exile. Moses spends years in obscurity before God calls him. The chapter ends with God hearing the cries of His people. Even when God seems silent, He is attentive and preparing His plan.

Application: Trust that God is working in your hidden seasons, even when nothing seems to be happening.

Prayer: Thank You, Jesus, that You are working even in the quiet and unseen parts of my life. Help me trust Your timing and preparation.

🤪 Meme of the week

God’s preparation often happens in silence. Moses didn’t know what God was doing, but God never stopped working. The same is true for you. Trust the process—God is not finished.
