πŸ“š Scripture. πŸ’ͺ

(Daniel 9:18b) We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy."

Observation: Daniel's prayer in chapter 9 is a profound act of humility and repentance. He acknowledges his people's sins and appeals to God's mercy, not their righteousness. This demonstrates a deep understanding of God's merciful, forgiving, and just character.

Application: We, too, must approach God humbly, recognizing our shortcomings and relying on His mercy. In our prayers, let us confess our sins, seek His forgiveness, and trust in His unwavering grace. This posture opens our hearts to transformation and aligns us with God's will.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we come before You acknowledging our sins and how we've strayed from Your path. We don't ask for your mercy because we deserve it, but because you are merciful and loving. Forgive us, cleanse us, and guide us back to You. May our hearts be ever repentant, and our lives reflect Your grace. In Jesus' name, Amen.
