Hello friends. Happy Saturday!
By late June, routines can easily become shallow and distracted. Exodus 29 reminds us that worship and devotion to God are not casual matters. The consecration of the priests pointed to the seriousness of serving in God’s presence. Yet it also pointed toward God’s desire to dwell among His people.

📚 Scripture. 💪

Exodus 29:45–46
“Then I will live among the people of Israel and be their God, and they will know that I am the Lord their God. I am the one who brought them out of the land of Egypt so that I could live among them. I am the Lord their God.”

Observation: God’s ultimate goal was never just rescuing Israel from Egypt but bringing them near to Himself. The priesthood and sacrifices highlighted the holiness required to approach God. These rituals pointed forward to Jesus, our ultimate High Priest. God consistently moves toward His people rather than away from them. His presence was meant to shape how Israel lived and worshiped. This chapter reminds us that salvation is about relationship, not just rescue.

Application: Spend intentional time with God this week, remembering that He desires a relationship with you.

Prayer: Thank You, Jesus, for making a way for me to come into God’s presence freely. Help me never take Your nearness for granted.

A Basic Rundown of What Tithing is All About
Question: Hey pastor. I don’t understand tithing. I didn’t grow up in church and have heard different things. Can you give me a basic rundown of what tithing is all about? Answer: Let’s get into it. Btw, here are some additional links to other articles: How to

📣 Sermon/Testimony. God Will Give You Strength. (H.B. Charles Jr.)
This sermon reminds believers that God provides strength for weary and discouraged people. H.B. Charles Jr. teaches that trusting in the Lord renews our endurance and hope during difficult seasons. The message encourages Christians to rely on God’s power instead of their own limited strength.

🤔 Apologetics. Can I Trust the Bible? – The Right Books.
A teaching focused on why the books of the Bible were recognized as Scripture and how the canon developed. The message explains that the early church recognized the authority of biblical books rather than inventing it.

🧠 Mental Health. Your Identity in Christ. (Freedom in Christ- Neil Anderson)
Anderson explores one of his central themes: believers must understand who they are in Christ. He challenges Christians to stop defining themselves by failures, wounds, or worldly labels and instead embrace their identity as children of God.

✍️ Deeper Study. Acts 1:1-11. (The Naked Bible - Dr. Michael Heiser) This video emphasizes the importance of using logic and reasoning when engaging in apologetics. It teaches that faith and reason are not opposed but work together to reveal truth. The message encourages believers to thoughtfully defend their faith while remaining humble and respectful in conversations.

📚 Book Recommendation. In the Name of Jesus. (Henri Nouwen) This short but powerful book challenges Christian leaders to reject celebrity culture, power, and self-promotion in ministry. Nouwen argues that true spiritual leadership flows from intimacy with Jesus rather than ambition or influence. It is especially valuable for pastors and ministry leaders because it exposes unhealthy motives while calling leaders back to servant-hearted faithfulness. Christians who read it will be encouraged to pursue humility, prayer, and dependence on Christ above platform-building.

✍️ Quote of the Week That Makes You Think

B. B. Warfield- “When Scripture speaks, God speaks.”

🤪 Dad Joke of the week

Why don’t oysters donate to charity in the summer?
Because they’re shellfish.

🤪 Meme of the week

God’s desire has always been to dwell among His people. From the tabernacle to Christ to the Spirit within believers, He continually moves closer. This chapter reminds us that faith is deeply relational. Don’t settle for knowing about God when you can walk closely with Him.
